Cumulative    |Daily Moving Average
The rate of infection is defined as the number of confirmed cases in a state or union territory (UT) divided by the total population. Data are acquired from state/UT-level data made publicly available from the state health bulletins, the Hindustan Times and covid19india.org. Daily case and death numbers are calculated using a simple difference between consecutive days and smoothed using a 7-day moving average. Country boundaries/designations do not represent OneHealthTrust (formerly CDDEP) opinion concerning the legal status of any country, territory, city, or area of its authorities, or concerning the delimitation of its frontiers or boundaries.
